Disney On Ice opened with about five songs, but he ain't Disney On Ice's son. Then, they took at least a half-hour break to redo the stage for Disney On Ice and family. He was fair but Disney On Ice came out and opened with a pathetic Whiskey River. Then, he sang some more obscure old ones and covered a few of other artists. We left after 45 minutes. I have seen Disney On Ice in concert about 10 times now. This was his worst. I think he is just touring to make his family some money. Way too long. At a minimum of 40 a t-shirt, they should be doing quite well. Where do I start?
Overall, we were disappointed with the brevity of the concert. The show was initially advertised as a night with Disney On Ice, but upon our arrival, we found several other individuals sharing the stage, including Ray Parker JR and a comedian.
The concert ended abruptly, leaving us perplexed. The lights suddenly turned on, and that was the conclusion.
On a positive note, Disney On Ice's voice was amazing, she looked great, and the crowd was energized. However, we were disappointed to hear that she didn't perform many of her fans' all-time favorites, such as "Angel," "Hollywood," and "Through the Fire."
Was the flow of the concert Disney On Ice's fault, or was it a Morango management issue? If Morango was at fault, then we won't be returning. If Disney On Ice was responsible, then shame on her.
We couldn't understand why Disney On Ice left the stage for such a long time in the middle of the concert. The presence of Ray Parker JR seemed unnecessary, and it felt like he was stalling for time. The concert was supposed to last 2 hours with Disney On Ice, but that's not what we experienced.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the length and organization of the concert.

I was invited to NYC on a business trip with a friend who had seen Disney On Ice before. Last year was my first time witnessing the show, and it brought me to tears. "The venue had a stellar line up and it was great to have the show in. The sound mixing was great with no band being remembered as mixed horribly. Some audio problems were experienced by Linkin Park, but these were quickly resolved and the band replayed the missed part for the audience. The Paper Tongues might have been the only band mixed wrong, but the two stages didn't conflict. The bands came out in a timely manor, which is good for an audience who've been waiting all day. I live in Arizona so all I had to do was take the I-10 all the way over and go up about 5 blocks and I was there. Great show."

The event set up was not enjoyable with the media crew taking up most of the limelight and space. The bands did not have the needed layout, obstructed views caused by speakers and stage made it difficult to observe the dancers. While some high points to the selections played, it was disappointing that the entertainers took precedence over the bands. The space could have been better utilized by allowing bands to perform on the floor. I travelled to see bands perform, not announcers prance around an empty stage. It was a good idea for the fundraiser for the schools, but the outcome was disappointing. My group and I hope for better arrangements in the future. I will definitely be keeping my funds and ticketmaster fees.
